Aesus Design Group wins Chiller Replacement Project at IHS Shiprock Hospital

Aesus Design Group, a leading engineering firm based in Tempe, Arizona, has been awarded the project of replacing 900 tons of cooling chillers at the Indian Health Service (IHS) Shiprock Hospital in New Mexico. The project, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, will improve the energy efficiency and reliability of the hospital’s cooling system, as well as reduce its environmental impact.

The IHS Shiprock Hospital, also known as the Northern Navajo Medical Center, is a 60-bed facility that provides comprehensive health care services to the Navajo Nation and other Native American communities in the region.

Aesus Design Group, which has over 20 years of experience in designing and installing HVAC systems for various commercial and industrial clients, will replace the existing chillers with new, high-efficiency models that use environmentally friendly refrigerants. The new chillers will also be equipped with advanced controls and sensors that will optimize their performance and reduce maintenance costs.
